Kankaanpää library, Kankaanpää
As part of a major renovation, the acoustics of the library were also improved. The whole ceiling surface received an acoustic overhaul. This provided an opportunity to test how the Lumir surface behaved when it was painted by artist Julia Kukkonen who painted a magnificent landscape for the library.
Julia said painting on the Lumir surface was almost like painting on high-quality watercolour paper. She spent nearly two and a half weeks painting the walls.
“The painting went really well! It was a joy to paint on the Lumir surface!”
The library opened its doors after the major renovation and extension on Thu 22 February 2018. The library is located at Kangasmoisionkatu 1, 38701 Kankaanpää.
