Studio44 for sound professionals, Kamppi, Helsinki
Studio44 is, as its name suggests, is a 44m2-s size space built inside a cliff that has served as a coal cellar for the Malminrinne property at the time. A new studio designed for podcasters, tubers and other sound professionals was opened for rental use in November 2021 in Kamppi, Helsinki.
The studio has a biofiber-based A-classified Lumir acoustic solution. Lumir´s solution reduces the echoing of the space and produces a comfortable and natural soundscape.
The recorded audio sounds clear and is easy to edit in well acousticed space. The Lumir acoustic solution binds carbon dioxide for decades, thus reducing the carbon footprint of the space.
