Keljonkangas Comprehensive School, Jyväskylä
The completely new school of 640 pupils opened in August 2021 for grades 5-9. Lumir’s acoustic solutions have been applied to the dining room walls and onto the ceiling and wall of the front of the stage.
Lumir’s acoustic coating was sprayed over the Lumir Board (perforated gypsum boards) to form a seamless wall. In school design, the multifunctionality of the facilities was an important criteria and the acoustics solutions offered by Lumir supported these goals excellently.
